Two worlds most people wouldn’t think of combining are together for a new Winnipeg Art Gallery exhibit.
Math + Art starts Saturday and features various prints, paintings, and sculptures from the WAG’s permanent collection.
Though a recent survey found math scores here are among the lowest in Canada,
Curator and Art Educator Rachel Baerg says the show was designed around the provincial curriculum.
“We want this to certainly be a show that’s really focused. I mean, we really designed it for teachers, and for students, but we also really want it to be accessible for the general public, and enjoyable.”
The collection was assembled over the past year.
