The second half of an eight game homestand ended in a 3-0 Toronto victory over the Manitoba Moose Friday night.
After a scoreless first period, the Marlies scored the opening goal of the night with a power play marker in the second period. They added a second goal late in the third before sealing the game with an empty netter.
Moose goalie Eric Comrie was the third star of the night, making 23 saves in a losing effort.
Toronto sticks around for a rematch with Manitoba Saturday night to wrap up the back-to-back.
