For the second time in consecutive nights, The Toronto Marlies beat the Manitoba Moose. Toronto won 4-1 Saturday to win both games of a back to back in downtown Winnipeg.
It took some time for the goals to come for both sides. After a scoreless first period Toronto drew first blood in the second before JC Lipon tied it up into intermission.
The Marlies scored 3 unanswered goals in the third to cruise to victory. Toronto also heavily out-shot the Moose, putting up 43 shots to Manitoba’s 22. Eric Comrie made 39 saves in the loss.
Manitoba continues an 8 game stay at home with a match-up against Lake Erie on Monday night.
