Opposition PC Leader, Brian Pallister is taking aim at the NDP and their recent spree of spending announcements.
Under the Selinger NDP, Pallister believes Manitobans can expect more tax money coming from your pockets to pay for a long list of pre-election government spending announcements.
According to the PC Party, the NDP has made $676 million in promises over the last two weeks – $750 million since Boxing Day.
“Spending more and getting less is the theme this government seems to support,” Pallister told reporters on Friday.
Pallister says while his government plans on spending tax dollars, the Tories will do it in a more responsible way.
“I’m not going to get into the game of trying to outbid the NDP,” Pallister said “Our game plan involves doing a complete performance review of the services and expenses the government incur.
