They are men and women who are committed to building this city and province. Here are three of the nine finalists.
Cam Couper, 29, is an electrical contractor. He has a tattoo of his family dog on his right arm. He is committed to use some of his profits to fund an animal rescue shelter.
Diandre Thomas-Hart, 20, grew up near Manitoba and Arlington in the North End. She is a graduate of Tec Voc High School and now wants to spend the next chapter of her life at the Canadian Roots Exchange.
Corey King, 30, is a leading Canadian video game designer. He met his wife and business partner online. She left a comment on his blog when he was at Brock University in southern Ontario.
