The Winnipeg Blue Bombers have brought on board a former Saskatchewan Roughrider for the second time in as many weeks. The Blue Bombers have added Defensive Back Victor “Macho” Harris to their roster a week after signing free agent Weston Dressler.
Harris was one of nineteen players released by Saskatchewan on December 15th after spending the past 4 seasons in “Riderville”. Prior to that, the 6-0, 200 pound native of Highland Springs, Virginia had spent time in the NFL with Philadelphia, Washington and Pittsburgh. The soon to be 30 year old played College Ball at Virginia Tech and was a 5th round selection of the Eagles in the 2009 NFL Draft.
The Bombers have also announced the addition of 6-3, 265 pound Defensive End Shayon Green who had tryouts with Miami and Pittsburgh after graduating from the University of Miami Hurricanes in 2013. Green is 24 years old.
