Up 2-1 late in the third, it looked like the Manitoba Moose were headed for a second straight win. That wouldn’t be the case as the Texas Stars scored a pair in the final 5 minutes to beat the Moose 3-2 Tuesday Night.
John Albert got things going in the first minute of the second period, with the Stars answering late in the break.
Darren Kramer broke the deadlock for Manitoba, before the heartbreaking late goals from the Stars. The Dallas affiliate found the winner with a poweplay goal in the final minute.
Eric Comrie stopped 30 of 33 shots in the losing effort as the Moose and Stars meet again Wednesday night in Winnipeg.
