The City of Winnipeg is paying a PR firm more than $60,000 to ask you what you think about organic waste pick up.
First Person Strategies has been hired to do open houses and consultations to figure out what Winnipeggers want to see from a curbside pick up program.
The city is looking at adding a green cart to pick up things like table scraps. It would cost you anywhere from $55-100 more per year.
Public consultations are expected to run for the next month or so, with a final vote at city council coming in the spring.
