A big box store’s construction would create more vehicles through a Winnipeg neighbourhood.
City Councillour Jeff Browaty says East St. Paul residents have a right to be unhappy. He understands though, that a business
needs access for people to get to their jobs and customers to get there, but forcing more traffic where it wasn’t expected isn’t fair to families.
The business wouldn’t have a major roadway for access, and was forced to go through the quiet residential neighbourhood.
A Provincial court judge will allow East St. Paul to present an appeal of the plan.
Browaty believes there has been errors in the original ruling, and hopes a review will help it to be sent back for a new hearing.
