Jumping out to a two goal lead didn’t end the way the Manitoba Moose wanted. The Chicago Wolves tied things up and beat the Moose 3-2 in overtime Saturday afternoon.
John Albert and Chase De Leo put the Moose up in the first period as Manitoba looked for just a second win in their last 13 games.
It wasn’t meant to be as the visiting Wolves scored twice in the second to even things up. A stalemate in the 3rd lead to OT. Danny Kristo put away the winner.
The Moose get another crack at Chicago Sunday afternoon as they host the Wolves in the final game of a 6 game home-stand. Puck drop is 2 p.m.
