Travel outside of Winnipeg isn’t ideal this afternoon due to blowing and drifting snow.
Visibility is reduced on some highways.
Tori Brown is from Manitoba Highways. She tells 680 CJOB that highway 1 East is partly snow covered, with drifting snow, that can affect visibility at times.
Highway 1 West apparently has more visibility issues than most Highways. Westbound from highway 13 to Portage la prairie is reduced visibility.
Also highway 6 from highway 101, and highway 26 are reduced visibility as well.
The perimeter has drifting snow, making one lane blocked off in sections.
