Other Terriers’ to win awards were Nick Henry (Rookie of the Year), Brett Orr(Top Defenseman), Nathan Park (Top Goaltender) and head coach Blake Spiller(Coach of the Year ).
Dan Taillefer of the Steinbach Pistons won the Hockey Ability award and is the lone non-Terrier to win a major award this season.
“Every player should be commended for their outstanding performance over the regular season,” said league Commissioner Kim Davis. “Coaches of the league vote and make the selections. These selections are extremely difficult to make. The talent level in our league is reflective in how difficult it was to select these respective teams.”
