A stabbing at a high school east of Toronto has left eight people with injuries.
Durham Regional Police were forced to put the school in Pickering in lock down this morning.
Danny Longo from AM 640 in Toronto tells 680 CJOB the suspect is a female student.
“Police said it started around 8:30 this morning. Four students have been taken to hospital with minor injuries. Two teachers were also injured. Another two teachers, we don’t know if it was the same two, apprehended the student until police arrived.”
Longo adds police are now starting to release students from the school, which will be closed for the rest of the day.
