An area of Winnipeg will start the day with no power tomorrow morning.
At around 9 a.m. Wednesday, hydro crews will be working on a riser pole in Wolseley. The riser pole is what leads cables from the underground system to the overhead distribution system.
Manitoba Hydro’s Scott Powell says the outage is needed to keep the workers safe while doing rehabilitation work.
About 800 customers will have power disrupted until approximately 11 a.m. The boundary is from Portage Avenue to the North, Alloway Avenue to the south, Maryland Street to the east and Kenora Street to the west.
