A unique Winnipeg winter event is going to stick around a little longer.
The Great Ice Show at The Forks has decided to extend their time here, as long as the weather cooperates.
Over 100 ice sculptures are on display in the inaugural year of the winter festival. It also features a toboggan run, an ice slide and bridge, and bumper cars.
Event organizers say a boost from Festival du Voyageur helped with this first year. They also say they will look to expand after this year’s success.
