One night after delivering a 7-2 beat-down, the Manitoba Moose were edged 2-1 by the same Charlotte Checkers side.
Both goaltenders were solid with things sitting scoreless into the third period. The Checkers and the Moose traded powerplay goals just minutes apart in the final frame. JC Lipon had the goal for the Moose. Not long after, Charlotte got another powerplay and converted the eventual winner.
Connor Hellebuyck made 26 saves as both teams put 28 shots on goal.
The Moose take an extended break before heading so San Antonio on Friday March 4th.
