If you want to go to the Heritage Classic in October, be prepared to pay a pretty penny.
While ticket prices for the outdoor game have not been finalized, Jets owner Mark Chipman says a price of about $600 would be at the upper end of the scale, which the NHL still has to set.
“It starts with them coming in and scaling Investors Group Field and determining with us different price points. And that will produce a range of ticket prices.”
Chipman says tickets for the outdoor game October 23 as well as the alumni game the day before will be sold as a package, and season ticket holders will get first crack at the tickets.
“We’ll be issuing our regular season ticket plans shortly and it’ll be for one less game. So fans aren’t obligated to buy it, but our season ticket holders have the first right to buy it.”
It’s still not clear when the tickets will actually go on sale.
