Overnight the Dunstone foursome edged Sweden 5-4 to improve to 2-0 after an 8-2 rout of the United States in their opening game on Sunday morning. The Canadian champs are tied for the early lead with Switzerland and will meet Scotland in their next game at Noon CST today.
The Canadian Junior Women’s team skipped by Mary Fay of Chester, Nova Scotia is also off to a 2-0 start after 7-2 and 10-3 wins over Switzerland and Sweden. Fay’s rink plays 1-1 Russia in a 7 a.m. CST start this morning.
