School taxes are going up again in three more Winnipeg school divisions.
The Louis Riel School Division, St. James-Assiniboia School Division and Pembina Trails School Division are all hiking taxes as they look to fill funding gaps.
You can see a break down of the numbers below:
St. James School Division – 3.9% – Average increase of $55.35 dollars per year on average home.
Louis Riel School Division – 4.89% – Increase of $80.00 per year on average home.
Pembina Trails School Division – 4.6% – Increase of $96.00 per year on an average home.
The Winnipeg School Division still must approve their budget. They’re looking at a potential tax increase of over six per cent.
All divisions must have their budgets in to the city by next week.
