2015 is a record-setter for Winnipeg Police and not for a good reason.
The force says it received just under 8900 missing persons reports, an all time high.
That was a jump of almost 30 per cent from 2014.
Meanwhile, a high profile missing person’s case will be back in the forefront.
Organizers say missing posters of Thelma Krull haven’t weathered well.
They’ve asked volunteers to meet at the Tim Horton’s (on Plessis) at 10:00 a.m. on Satuday, March 19th to put up new posters.
The grandmother, who was 57 at the time, disappeared in July while on a walk in East Kildonan-Valley Gardens area.
