You may want to fill up your car sooner than later.
Dan McTeague of Gas Buddy dot com says he expects prices to start going up next week.
“At 86 cents a litre, you’re about five cents a litre above what it costs gas stations to buy fuel in the first place, so safe bet that those prices could start to go up,” he said.
He says next week we switch from winter to summer gas, which is more expensive.
“It’s more expensive to make summer gasoline, and that could see another 3 cents per litre increase,” he said.
He says he doesn’t expect prices to go any higher than 93.9 cents.
