Conditions are very slick out East in Manitoba.
Vehicles have been sliding while travelling on Highway 1 East, leaving the city and coming in.
Manitoba Highways say the snow has affected travel outside of Winnipeg minimally. Highway 1 East is partly ice-covered, and Highway 1 West has “fair” visibility, but overall good driving conditions. Highway 8, 9 and 204 are partly snow covered.
There are reports of several cars in the ditch in the Lorette area.
More light snow is in the forecast for Saturday.
