Manitoba RCMP’s communication centre took to Twitter to show the public an inside look at the job Friday night.

The public got a look inside at what happens when an emergency call comes in. And a lot goes in to responding to every call as operators must stay calm while speaking to callers, gathering information, and dispatching the proper resources.
“The volume of calls is really startling.” Spokesperson Robert Cyrenne told 680 CJOB, “Basically they hang up and another call comes in and this is while they’re dispatching police and getting information.”

Example tweet: ASSAULT CALL, Thompson: man hit outside house w/object, man unconscious, suspect still on scene, #rcmpmb en-route.
