As the warmer weather begins to arrive, so too do more road projects.
Starting this week, the NB lanes on Arlington will be closed north of the bridge between Stella Ave and Selkirk Ave. Two-way traffic will be maintained on the SB side.
From Wednesday until Friday, EB Broadway from Picardy to Maryland, the median lane will be closed for communication repairs. Expect that to slow you down as you’ll be in single-file on the right hand side.
Also beginning on Wednesday and running through the weekend, the EB lanes will be closed along Nairn Ave for a small stretch before Watt St. From Allan St to Desalaberry Ave single file will be maintained in either direction on the WB side.
SB Pembina Hwy from Clarence Ave to Boston Ave, the curb lane will be taken away on Wednesday as well.
Starting up on Tuesday and lasting until Friday, NB Henderson Hwy from Dunrobin Ave to Oakview Ave, one lane of traffic will be maintained at all times. When possible, two lanes of traffic will be open for the afternoon rush, but expect things to start lining up for your drive home.
Wednesday and Thursday, SB Ferry Rd will lose the median lane for construction between Silver Ave and Ness Ave.
Starting on Thursday and running through the weekend, NB Main will lose the two right hand lanes from Bannerman Ave to Atlantic Ave for sewer work, while on the SB side, the curb lane will be closed from Burrin Ave to Semple Ave for the same amount of time.
Ongoing road projects include:
- SB Maryland from St. Matthews to Portage, two lanes on the right hand side are taken away for hydro work.
- NB Memorial is reduced to one lane, while the SB curb lane remains closed for hydro work through the weekend.
- NB Wall from Richard to Wall St East, the curb lane remains closed for sewer work for the remainder of the week.
