The Winnipeg Blue Bombers have bolstered an already strong receiving corps with the signing of former NY Giant Jerrell Jernigan.

The speedy, 5-8 and 189 pound wide receiver was a team mate of current Blue Bomber Defensive Back Bruce Johnson with the 2012 Super Bowl Champion NY Giants.
The 26 year old native of Eufaula, Alabama was a third round pick of the Giants in the 2011 NFL draft and was the team’s primary kick returner in the dramatic 21-17 win over the New England Patriots.
During his 4 seasons with the Giants, Jernigan caught 38 passes for 391 yards and two touchdowns.
He played collegiate football at Troy, Alabama seeing action in 50 games with 37 starts. Jernigan hauled in a school record 262 receptions for 3,128 yards and 18 touchdowns as part of a school and Sun Belt Conference record 5,972 all-purpose yards and 25 touchdowns on 490 touches during his tenure with the Trojans.
