A woman is dead and two other people are injured after a head on crash in southwestern Manitoba.
RCMP say around 11:15 a.m. Saturday, a pick up and semi-truck collided on Highway 10 at the entrance to Turtle Mountain Provincial Park.
The woman in the pick-up was pronounced dead at the scene. Two others were airlifted to hospital, where a man remains in critical condition.
The trio are from Sioux Valley First Nation. The driver of the semi wasn’t hurt.
Police believe alcohol and speed were not factors in the crash.
Highway 10 was closed from Highway 3 to the United States border for almost 12-hours. It re-opened just after 11:30 p.m Saturday night.
The investigation continues.
