Most people in Canada own at least one cell phone. In fact, many households have done away with the traditional land line and only use mobile phones. We use these devices for virtually everything, from taking pictures to watching hockey games to browsing the Internet.
The man who’s responsible for the invention of the cell phone spent much of his childhood here in Winnipeg and was back for a visit. I was fortunate enough to get him in studio to talk about the past but more important to him, the future. Here’s my conversation with Martin Cooper.
