You are soon going to pay more for electricity.
The Public Utilities Board has given Manitoba Hydro the green light to up your bill by 3.36 per cent.
The utility had wanted an increase of almost 4 per cent.
The hike, that takes effect August 1st, will mean the average customer will pay about $2.83 more a month.
Those with electric heating, will see their monthly costs go up roughly $5.50.
