“I killed her.”
A jury is hearing dramatic testimony of how a Winnipeg man turned himself in after murdering his ex-girlfriend in a jealous rage.
47-year-old Seymour Sharpe is accused of second degree murder in the May 2013 deaths of Natasha Jeffrey and another man, Ronald Debreo.
They were found inside a home on Roblin in Charleswood where Sharpe and Jeffrey lived.
Police officers testified Sharpe showed up at the station that morning mumbling.
One said he told them he “did something bad”.
Another said he told her Jeffrey was cheating on him and he couldn’t take it.
The defense has admitted Sharpe killed both people, but may argue he didn’t have intent or that he was acting in self defense.
The trial continues into next week.
