These thieves decided to ‘think big’.
Ontario Provincial Police in Kenora say two properties had a number of vehicles stolen early Tuesday morning.
In one instance, three All-Terrain Vehicles (ATV) and two Utility Terrain Vehicles (UTV) were taken from a business on Highway 658. In the other instance, a service truck and trailer were taken from a spot on Highway 17 west — and the truck contained $100,000 worth of tools. The total value of all the stolen property is estimated at $260,000.
Police say it’s possible they were headed west into Manitoba.
The stolen vehicles are described as:
2006 Silver Ford F450, Ontario licence plate AC5224. The service truck has chrome push bars in the front, flat deck in rear with mechanic boxes (pictured below)
2001 white enclosed trailer is 16 feet, with Ontario licence plate Y80866. The enclosed trailer has a rounded front with stamped metal, 16 feet long
