The Winnipeg Blue Bombers have signed 2016 CFL Draft Picks Zachary Intzandt, Rupert Boucher, and Frank Renaud who will all be reporting for the start of rookie camp a week from today on Wednesday, May 25th.
Intzandt is a 6-5, 298 pound Offensive Lineman from London, Ontario who was the Blue Bombers fifth round choice, 37th overall. The 22 year old was a two year starter for the McMaster Marauders at right guard and was an OUA First Team All Star as a senior.
Butcher was the team’s sixth round selection, 46th overall, and is a 6-5, 320 pound Defensive Lineman with Western Ontario. The 23 year old London, Ontario native joined Intzandt as an OUA First Team All Star after a senior season of 10.5 tackles and 3 Quarterback Sacks in 8 games for the Mustangs.
Windsor Native Renaud is a 6-1, 215 pound Linebacker who has played 3 seasons with his hometown Lancers and over the course of his career made 120.5 tackles, 7.5 Quarterback Sacks, forced 7 fumbles and recovered 3. The 23 year old was Winnipeg’s eighth and final pick, 63rd overall.
