A search is underway in the Mediterranean Sea for an EgyptAir jet that disappeared early Thursday morning.
The plane was flying from Paris to Cairo when it simply disappeared from radar.
The airline says one Canadian is among the 66 people on board the plane, which is believed to have crashed into the eastern Mediterranean.

The Egyptian army has already sent a team to look for the plane. That part of the Mediterranean is reportedly relatively shallow and it is believed the plane and its black boxes will be found.
When asked about a possible terrorist attack, the prime minister of Egypt told the country’s state news agency that he cannot “rule out” any possibility.
