WINNIPEG – One man is dead while another is suffering critical injuries following a crash in Tuxedo early Sunday morning.
Winnipeg Police say it appears a pick-up truck was speeding along Corydon Avenue at around 1:20 a.m. when the driver lost control near Doncaster Street. The truck hit several object, including a tree and a fence, before smashing into a nearby building.
Sources have confirmed that Cody Galbraith was killed in the crash while Jordan Allarie remains in hospital. Both are 25-years-old.
Police will be looking to see if both men had their seatbelts on and if alcohol is a potential cause as well.
A stretch of Corydon Avenue was closed for several hours, but has since reopened.
