WINNIPEG – It might be a little tougher to land a job this summer in Winnipeg.
1,900 employers across Canada were polled by Manpower for its the third-quarter outlook survey.
Area Manager Carman Gosselin explains that most businesses here will maintain the status quo.
“Ten per cent of employers in Winnipeg plan on hiring, two per cent said they would let people go, and about 88 per cent said they would have no change in their hiring for the next quarter.”
That’s an 11 per cent decrease compared to last year at this time.
Construction and Public Administration are leading all employers when it comes to hiring.
