WINNIPEG – It will soon cost more for you to get your dog licensed, or adopt a new one.
The city’s animal services department is proposing raising fees next year.
The price of getting a license for your dog, or renewing one will rise by five dollars.
If your dog is fixed, a license would cost $36. It will be $71 for an intact animal.
Cat license fees will stay the same price.
Meantime, adoption fees would rise about $15 if council signs off on the changes.
