WINNIPEG – A second man has been arrested after a deadly stabbing in Winnipeg.
45-year-old James Tucker died after someone barged into his suite on Furby Street in the West End and stabbed him.
Joshua Evans, 24, has now been arrested and faces a number of charges, including second-degree murder.
Martin Archie Flett, 22, had already been arrested and faces the same charges.
Police say the accused went to the apartment to buy some drugs when they encountered a 37-year-old man. The accused allegedly assaulted this man, who treated to his suite. That’s where they found Tucker, who was stabbed during a confrontation.
Last week police said the accused and the victim did not know each other.
