WINNIPEG – What was Canada’s “Golden Age”?
One quarter of Canadians believe it’s still to come.
That’s according to a new survey from Agnus Reid.
In second place, 17 per cent of respondents said the 1970s were Canada’s glory days.
The 60s came in third.
42 per cent said they are satisified with the way things are going in our country today, but the same number are not.
Economic concerns were the biggest reason for pessimism.
About half of the respondents say they are concerned for the next generation.
