WINNIPEG – After a bit of a sluggish start to the season, the Winnipeg Goldeyes are finding their groove.
The Fish won for the 8th time in 11 games Friday night, beating the visiting Gary SouthShore RailCats 9-5 at Shaw Park.
Duke von Schamann earned the win while the offence continues to fire on all cylinders: the Goldeyes have now scored 69 runs and hit 18 long balls in their last eight games.
The Goldeyes and RailCats continue their three-game set this evening at Shaw Park. First pitch is scheduled for 6:05 p.m.
