WINNIPEG – There will not be a decision today as a Winnipeg mom accused of abducting her children seeks bail.
The woman allegedly took her kids last month. They were found safe in her car after a brief police pursuit days later.
The 44-year-old is facing a list of charges.
She had been involved in a messy court battle with her ex husband, who had custody of the kids. They had also spent time in CFS care.
Details of the bail hearing today are covered by a publication ban, with the judge taking until next week to make his decision.
Prosecutors are opposing the mother’s release.
