The Liquor Control Board of Ontario launched LCBO.com yesterday, an online store where people can have alcoholic beverages delivered to a liquor store of their choice or even right to their door.
So when can we expect a similar service in Manitoba?
Andrea Kowal, director of corporate affairs for Manitoba Liquor and Lotteries tells 680 CJOB you won’t have to wait too long to start ordering online.
“I consider that part of our five year plan,” says Kowal. “We are already working towards possibly in two years being able to use that as an actual storefront.”
Prices and availability of products are currently listed on the Liquor Mart’s website.
