An accident has taken the lives of two teens after a single vehicle rollover on a northern Manitoba First Nation.
It happened Saturday morning near Bloodvein First Nation.
Chief Roland Hamilton says at least nine young people had been driving around in one of their parents’ vehicles, with some in the “box” part of the vehicle.
A 13 and 14-year-old were killed and three others were airlifted to hospital. They’re now in stable condition.
The vehicle appears to have been taken without the owner’s consent.
