WINNIPEG- A Winnipeg man wants the city to pay for damages to his car windshield after a large rock allegedly chipped the glass.
Nathan Zassman says it happened while he was driving on Kenaston Boulevard Monday morning.
He says a city employee was mowing the grass on the median when a rock suddenly flew out from underneath the mower, damaging his windshield and roof.
“It wasn’t a small stone, it was a really large rock,” said Zassman. “It badly damaged my windshield and the metal that connects the windshield to the roof of my vehicle.”
Zassman added that he thinks the city should re-evaluate mowing the grass in that area during rush hour traffic.
For now, he is on the hook for the $200 dollar deductible.
