WINNIPEG – A special unit, made up of the Winnipeg Police and RCMP are sending out a warning.
The Manitoba Integrated High Risk Sex Offender Unit says a 41-year-old convicted sex offender is being released today.
It says Fabian Claybren Maytwayashing is considered a high risk to re-offend in a sexual manner.
All women are said to be in danger.
He’s being released from Headingley today and expected to live in the city.
Police say Maytwayashing has served a sentence for three counts of failing to comply with probation and fail to comply with recognizance. He is now subject to the conditions of a 3 year probation order.
Officers also tell us he frequently uses social media to identify and contact women who could be potential victims. Maytwayashing is known to use aliases in his activities.
