WINNIPEG – The body of a man who’s been missing since last year has been found.
33-year-old Reid Bricker was last seen around 3:00 a.m., on October 24th leaving the Health Sciences Centre.
Bricker was admitted into the hospital a few hours earlier after three failed suicide attempts.
When he first went missing police believed he may have been heading east, towards Whiteshell or Kenora.
Officers say his body has been found, but no word on where.
Foul play is not suspected at this time.
Since his disappearance Bricker’s mom, Bonnie, has been fighting for the province to change the Personal Health Information Act. The province and the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority have since assembled a task force to look at potential changes to mental health services.
