There were several power outages in Winnipeg on Monday night.
An outage in the Osborne area affected roughly 700 customers. The cause of the outage was a drowned overhead cable. Hydro crews were hoping to get the power restored before 1 a.m. on Tuesday morning.
Meanwhile, an outage in the Westwood area affected roughly 600 people. Crews were responding but they did not have an estimated restoration time.
Finally, there was an outage in the north end of the city earlier Monday evening due to the stormy weather.
