STRATHROY – Investigators in Ontario have determined that Aaron Driver, the potential terrorist threat who was killed in a confrontation with police, died from a gunshot wound.
On Wednesday, RCMP officers responded to a home in Strathroy, Ontario after receiving information from the FBI of an imminent attack.
Police moved in as Driver sat in the back of a taxi in his driveway. Officers believe Driver detonated an explosive, but now confirm it was actually gunfire from police that killed him.
The taxi was scarred with damage from the explosion. The driver of the cab suffered minor injuries.
