WINNIPEG – For the third time in four weeks, multiple Winnipeg Blue Bombers have made the cut as Shaw Performers of the Week.
To nobody’s surprise, Justin Medlock was honoured for his incredible seven field goal performance, including hitting the game-winner in Winnipeg’s 28-25 win in Regina, their first Labour Day win over the Roughriders since 2004.
Quincy McDuffie was also honoured for his breakout offensive performance, catching seven balls for 153 yards, including an electric 82-yard touchdown reception. He also returned four kickoffs for 53 yards.
As Winnipeg continues their hot run, it’s worth remembering that the Bombers went more than three years without having multiple players honoured in the same week.
