WINNIPEG – A scary story from police about a Winnipeg woman who was allegedly knocked unconscious, then sexually assaulted at a bus stop.
It happened near the foot of the Disraeli Freeway, on the Main Street side Friday evening.
Police say the woman – in her mid thirties – was approached from behind, assaulted and knocked out.
When she woke up, she had allegedly been raped and robbed.
She needed to be treated in hospital.
Police say the suspect is a white man, six feet tall, in his thirties with an athletic build.
