WINNIPEG – It’s been two years since RCMP started an investigation into construction of the Winnipeg Police Headquarters.
Now one Winnipeg man wants them to tell us what they’ve found.
Michael Kalo has filed a motion in court, trying to pressure the mounties into giving us an update.
“The public deserves answers and I think that the public demands answers,” says Kalo.
Kalo says taxpayers have a right to know what’s happening to their money.
He’ll argue his case next week.
RCMP raided the offices of the contractor behind the downtown HQ in 2014.
Leaked documents described alleged fraud and phony invoices.
The project ended up going $75 million over budget.
