WINNIPEG – The great pigeon debate takes over city hall this morning.
Angry neighbours are expected to pack a committee meeting, trying to block a River Heights man from building a big coop behind his house.
He wants to keep about 50 racing pigeons inside and it looks like the city will give him the green light.
The house is on Mathers Avenue near Lanark Street.
Neighbours are worried about the noise and the smell but the man claims they’ll never even know the birds are there.
